    Hello Peter
Do you know about the sustainable food cities conference being held in Edinburgh on 22 March? We’ve been working with the university as well as NHS Lothian and the Council to encourage them to procure more sustainable local food together, and also to be part of a wider project called Edible Edinburgh. Happy to send you more info or call if you want to know more

    Pete

      Hi,

Sorry I can’t make it to that, it looks a really good event. I’ve got a long planned work trip to Birmingham, so I’ll be spending most of the day on a train!

      Peter

Hi Peter, as a candidate in the forthcoming Council election for the Portobello/Craigmillar ward, many local parents are wondering where you stand on the ‘school in the park’ issue. Could you enlighten us? If you support us, would you consider signing our online petition?

Please see my position here: http://wp.me/pMRwG-3V I realise that it is a compromise position, and that’s not what many will want but I am keen to see us move on from this with a new school.

Peter, I wonder if you are prepared to say something about your position on the PPAG appeal against the Judicial Review which found in favour of allowing Portobello High School to be built on the park earlier last month.

It is the number one issue exercising hundreds of families in Portobello right now, people who might be prepared to vote for you if they knew where you stand. I am sure you’ll have seen the coverage over the weekend on the BBC, STV and in the Evening News. You’ll also be aware I am sure of the petition asking PPAG to drop their appeal which now has 900+ signatures on it.
